Terms and Conditions for Day Retreats, Workshops, Meditations, and Courses.

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the participation in and purchase of day retreats, workshops, meditations, and courses (collectively referred to as "Services") offered by Megan Rose Lane, trading as MRL LTD ("Coach", "we", "us", "our"). By registering for or participating in any of these Services, you ("Participant", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
* Participants must be at least 18 years of age or have written consent from a parent or guardian to attend.
* You must be in suitable physical and mental health to participate in the Services.
3. Booking and Payment
* All bookings must be made through the official registration process, whether online, via email, or in person.
* Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
* Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other methods specified during the booking process.
* Your spot is confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
4. Refund and Transfer Policy
1. No Refunds
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason, except as outlined in the illness exception below.
2. Ticket Transfers
If you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another person. To do so:
* The ticket transfer must be completed at least 24 hours before the event.
* Please notify us of the transfer by emailing [email protected] with the name and contact details of the new attendee.
(Please note that if they have dietary requirements, we may not be able to cater to these at this late stage).
3. Illness Exception
If you are unable to attend the event due to illness, you may be eligible for a partial refund or credit towards a future event, provided the following conditions are met:
* You must notify us as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the event.
* A valid medical certificate or doctor’s note must be provided as evidence of illness.
* Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a refund of 50% of the ticket price, or a credit of the full ticket value towards a future event organised by us.
4. Other Considerations
We reserve the right to review and make exceptions on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances not covered in this policy.
5. Health and Safety
* Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during the Services.
* You must inform us of any pre-existing conditions, injuries, or special needs at the time of booking.
* The Coach is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the Services.
* You are advised to consult a doctor or healthcare provider before participating if you have any concerns about your health.
6. Liability
* The Coach is not responsible for any personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged during the Services.
* The Coach is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages that occur during the Services except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
* Participants acknowledge that they participate in the Services at their own risk.
7. Code of Conduct
* Participants are expected to behave respectfully and considerately towards others.
* Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in expulsion from the event without a refund.
* The use of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances during the Services is strictly prohibited.
8. Privacy Policy
* Any personal information provided during the registration process will be kept confidential and used only for the purposes of delivering the Services.
* We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
9. Intellectual Property
* All materials provided during the Services, including but not limited to handouts, recordings, and digital content, are the intellectual property of MRL LTD.
* Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use any materials provided without the express written consent of MRL LTD.
10. Media Consent
* By participating in our Services, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional purposes unless you explicitly opt out in writing before the start of the event.
* If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform us in advance.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
* MRL LTD reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
* The most current version of the Terms will be posted on our website and will apply to all Services going forward.
12. Governing Law
* These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
* Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London, England.
